Career

After graduating from university, Fabrega worked in finance. At the same time, he started acting, posting videos on the internet and shooting stand-up videos at open mics. She also gained a following on Twitter. She moved on to part-time jobs, then quit her job to pursue acting full-time, including starring in “Homecoming with Amy Sedaris” and writing for “The Chris Gerhard Show.” Brega was named a “Laughing Newcomer” in 2017 and was named to Vulture’s list of comedians to watch in 2018.

In 2016, began working occasionally with singer Fred Armisen upon request for his show Portlandia. When Armisen finalized the idea for a new Spanish film for HBO, he enlisted Fabrega and New York actor Julio Torres to write and produce the series Los Espookys. As well as working as a writer and actor on Los Espookys, which Fabrega describes as “a show about a group of friends creating terror for the fictitious Yes in an unnamed Latin American country.” He also played the role of Tati. The first season of Los Espookys was released in 2019. The show was renewed for a second season the same year. Filming was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but production on the second season was completed in early 2022.
