They changed it to mosques in 30 different states in 30 days in 2010. CNN, BBC, PBS, and Al Jazeera have all covered them. They visited the remaining 20 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, in 2011. They’ve driven almost 25,000 kilometers. In 2012, they also published a series of short videos on various aspects of Muslim life and used social media to propagate the message. Ali has received several awards for his reporting including one from the Associated Press in 2010 for his breaking news coverage in New York.
