Allison appeared in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the band Earth, Wind, and Fire. Holker began competing in dance competitions two years later and won a few. These included the National Senior Performer of the Year award from Company Dance in Colorado in 2004 and the National Senior Outstanding Dancer award from the New York City Dance Alliance in 2005.
