His casting resulted in his first feature spread in Women’s Wear Daily (WWD.com) in September 2018, followed by a feature cover in the February 2019 issue of Attitude magazine, and an article in the February/March 2019 issue of Da Man, an Indonesian men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine. Landi appeared in the second season of Netflix’s Insatiable in 2019. On The CW’s Walker, he first appeared as Bret Nam. He participated in the music video for Doja Cat’s 2021 song “Kiss Me More” with SZA. He is a main cast member on ABC’s long-time hit show Grey’s Anatomy playing the role of orthopedic surgeon Dr. Nico Kim. He likewise appears as Dr. Kim on crossover episodes with Grey’s sister show Station 19. Notably, Landi is the first Asian male surgeon in both programs. Landi is also a recurring cast member on the CW’s reboot of Walker: Texas Ranger. He plays the character Bret Nam opposite actors Jared Padalecki and Keegan Allen.
