Dixon also began a 17-city national tour called The Alesha Show on October 20, 2009, in Nottingham. Dixon joined the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel in September 2009, which drew anger from some fans, with the BBC receiving 272 complaints. Despite the criticism, the BBC declared that it was “delighted” with Dixon.
