Henry Childhood, Family – Education
Henry was born in London and, along with her brothers, was placed in foster care when she was six months old. She was then reared in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, by Joyce and George Dymock, a British-Maltese couple. Henry became a member of the Youth Music Theatre. With the help of a scholarship, she trained under Gail Gordon, the Head of Dance at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and attended the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Connecticut.

Henry provides the voices for Colorblocks and Numberblocks. Cyan and the Six Times Table are voiced by her. In the Printing Crew, Cyan is paired with Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Anthropomorphic cyan cube, that is Cyan. She’s wearing a helmet that’s a little darker cyan color. There are four stripes on her helmet: black, magenta, yellow, and cyan. The black stripe changes depending on the scene. Cyan is a lively and energetic person. She enjoys combining colors and racing, much like the other members of the Printing Crew, but Magenta enjoys repairing things. The Six Times Table is an indigo table that has hexagonal eyes in addition to Six’s facial features and a rocket booster to match. She is a rapper who showcases her abilities in Remix the Sixes and at the start of The Rolling Sixes.

Henry debuted professionally on stage in the Pet Shop Boys musical Closer to Heaven at the Arts Theatre in 2001 as one of Billie’s Babes.Additionally, Henry sang on the original cast recording.She debuted on television the following year when she made a cameo in a Doctors episode on the BBC medical soap drama.Henry performed in the ensemble of Anything Goes, Trevor Nunn’s Skellig at the Young Vic, and Love’s Labour’s Lost at the National Theatre in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
Henry debuted in a feature film in 2004 with a small part in De-Lovely. She then played Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Chichester, a role she would return to when touring in 2013. She originated the character of Toby in Helen Edmundson’s 2005 play Coram Boy at the National Theatre, portrayed the Zebra in the musical Just So, also in Chichester, and was featured on the cast CD. She also starred in the comedy film Unhitched. A 2006 performance at Shakespeare’s Globe in Coriolanus and Under the Black Flag came after this.
Every episode of the 2008 CITV series Captain Mack featured Henry. She performed as Minnie Fay in the London production of Hello, Dolly and Miranda in The Tempest at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2009. Henry provided the voices of Jolli and Willi in the CBBC series Bottersnikes and Gumbles from 2015 to 2017 and Amma in the CBeebies series Bing from 2014 to 2019. She performed on stage in plays such as The Little Match Girl at Shakespeare’s Globe and Deposit at the Hampstead Theatre during that period. In 2018, she played the role of Medea at Bristol Old Vic.
Henry played Lady Macbeth alongside Mark Rowley in Kit Monkman’s Macbeth film, which was released later in 2018. In 2021, she would appear in The Tragedy of Macbeth at the Almeida Theatre as Lady Macduff. Henry was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award and received a WhatsOnStage Award for her supporting role in the latter. She also had several voice parts in the Disney series 101 Dalmatian Street, the CITV series The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, and the Sky series Moominvalley. She also starred in Giles Terera’s The Meaning of Zong at Bristol Old Vic. In the future, she played leading roles in Mad House at the Ambassadors Theatre in 2022, Much Ado About Nothing at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and Phaedra at the National in 2023.
