On Superstore, Ash plays Dina Fox, the severe, controlling assistant manager of the store.Dina Fox, who has worked for Cloud 9 for more than ten years, was the assistant manager of Cloud 9 Store 1217. She was born in St. Louis in 1984. She frequently treats customers and coworkers rudely and is harsh and forceful. She is quite hostile toward Glenn, has a high sense of self-worth, and dislikes admitting guilt or offering an apology to others. She enjoys babies and may be very devoted. She contracts food poisoning on Black Friday, and she and the employees leave the store. Dina gives Garrett a kiss for sex after being impressed by his efforts. Later on, she talks about her interaction with Sandra, whom she feels insulted her.
Dina takes Amy to The Charhouse for lunch with the ladies, where she meets Garrett in Glenn’s office and engages in two sexual encounters. She finds an extra helmet just in case a tornado hits, and she doesn’t care if Garrett takes it. Dina tells Garrett she’s relieved he’s okay after they both hang onto shelves during the tornado.
