Winkle is an actor that plays Aldon, the CIA operative of Luke’s team on the Netflix show FUBAR. For years, Emma Brunner, Luke’s daughter, and her father have been lying to each other, not realizing that one of them is a CIA agent. They both come to the realization that they truly don’t know anything about one another after they discover the truth. Their supervisors make them collaborate on risky operations, which creates problems when Luke treats Emma like a child, gets unduly worried about her safety, and strains their relationship.

On The Last Ship, Van Winkle made an appearance as Danny Green. Under Commander Tom Chandler’s direction, Lieutenant Daniel Joshua “Danny” Green, a member of the US Navy Mountain Warfare Unit, is in charge of the Mountain Warfare team on board the USS Nathan James. Daniel Joshua Green is his full name.
It is against Navy policy for Green to have had a close contact with Lt. Kara Foster while she was on the Nathan James. When Foster volunteered to be a human test subject for the experimental cure, he learned of her pregnancy and helped her through her adverse reaction to the treatment.
Kara and Danny wed in the second season finale. When Captain Chandler addresses Kara as “Mrs. Green” in the season three opener, it becomes evident that Danny and Kara are already married. In remembrance of Danny’s late buddy Franklin Benz, Kara and Danny have recently welcomed a baby boy, Frankie.
