Julie Goldman is an American comedian, actress, and podcaster. She is most recognized for her roles in Bravo’s The People’s Couch and HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. In 2016, she and her comedic partner Brandy Howard launched Dumb Gay Politics, a podcast that reviews politics and reality television.

Julie Career
Jolie founded an all-female variety show called OFFENSIVE WOMEN and hired Eve Ensler to promote their biggest show to date at the Zipper Theatre in New York City. She starred in Logo TV’s sketch comedy program The Big Gay Sketch Show. Goldman is a regular guest on the weekly podcast Gay Pimpin’ with Jonny McGovern. She joined the staff of the Goldman Sachs podcast in 2010. In addition to co-hosting Gay Pimpin’ with Joni McGovern, Goldman also co-hosts the political podcast Dumb, Gay Politics with writing partner Brandy Howard. Goldman is raising money to produce The Best, a feature-length comedy she co-wrote with Brandy Howard. Goldman and Howard are producing the film with Amanda Bales, who will also direct.

Goldman and Brandy Howard host the web series Your Box Office, where they share movie reviews and recaps on the women’s favorite website Autostraddle. In “In Your Box Office FOR REAL,” Julie and Brandi go backstage at events such as the Michigan Women’s Music Festival, where Julie performed with Jane Lynch, and the VH1 DO Something Awards. Goldman and Howard wrote for Joan Rivers of E! in the summer of 2011 and were contestants on the second season of “RuPaul’s Drag U.”
