When House goes to see her to try to figure out why Taub quit his plastic surgery practice, she is initially referenced but not seen in Ugly. She first appears at the conclusion of Wilson’s Heart when Taub joins her in bed to offer solace following Amber Volakis’s passing. Adverse Events features her in her first speaking role.
Beautiful Rachel, who is in her 30s, married Taub out of pure love and has been loyal to him ever since. But as word leaked out about Taub’s affair with a nurse at his plastic surgery clinic, he got his colleagues to promise not to compete with him in exchange for confidentiality. He informed Rachel that he was closing his practice since he had lost a patient. To make up for it, he gave Rachel a huge diamond ring.
Rachel Taub, a character in the TV series, initially remained unaware of her husband’s secret money account until House’s private investigator Lucas Douglas discovered it. She revealed that she had been saving money for a sports vehicle. Taub eventually confessed to closing his surgery practice due to suspicion of his wife, causing their relationship to suffer. In Season 6, Taub asked Rachel about an open marriage, but she initially agreed but later changed her mind due to her feelings for him.
They recommitted to the marriage but still had extramarital encounters. In Season 7, Rachel and Taub attended the board chairman’s wedding, where they had a disagreement over her friendship with a man she met in an online support group. Taub accused her of trying to punish him and having an emotional affair, but Rachel refused, arguing that she needed the friendship. Rachel Taub was the only on-screen spouse of any of the main characters until Cameron and Chase’s marriage in Both Sides Now.
Gladis role on Mad Men
In Mad Men, Gladis plays Paul Kinsey. Paul Kinsey worked as a copywriter for the advertising agency Sterling Cooper. In the beginning, Paul, a young copywriter, was a member of Pete’s “entourage” at work, spending more time chatting, drinking, and flirting than working. He attended Princeton on a scholarship after moving to New Jersey. Paul wanted to put on a different front because he felt insecure. He had an obsession with space and enjoyed science fiction and “The Twilight Zone” shows.
When Paul first met Peggy Olson, he urged her to get into copywriting, but Peggy turned him down. Paul grew envious of her and became more competitive since she was a better copywriter than a secretary. Paul became less influential in the creative department and was seldom asked to significant customer meetings.
Don Draper did not give him a job offer to join the newly formed Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce agency at the conclusion of Season 3. Paul didn’t make another appearance until the end of Season 5, when he went to a coffee shop and met Harry. Paul had left the advertising industry after struggling financially and moving to more obscure businesses. Reluctantly, he converted to Hare Krishnaism but kept up his side writing. Harry ruined Paul’s relationship with his Hare Krishna fiancée by having an affair with her.
Harry promised him not to go back to the Hare Krishna temple, so he lied about the screenplay and handed him $500 along with a bus ticket to California, encouraging him to start over there.
Gladis role on Justified
He guest stars as Kenneth Flix in the FX series Justified fourth season episode, “Money Trap”. “In Hole in the Wall” features Jody and Kenneth witnessing a skinny guy with a sack across his chest take a specialty bike by breaking its chain. Jody came to the conclusion that all bike thieves were heroin addicts and they began following them to heroin dealers.
He makes an appearance in “Money Trap” during the six-day flashback, where he poses as a kind stranger who stops the van carrying Jody on the side of the road because one of its tires is flat. When Kenneth witnesses Jody strangling Mitch to death, he shows obvious fear, but under gunpoint, he divulges Sharon Edmunds’ whereabouts. The two go when deputies interrogate Kenneth about Sharon, but not before they sit around getting high in his place.
When they discover Raylan Givens is also there, chatting with Katrina’s sorority sister Jackie Nevada, they decide to leave instead of going to Katrina Adair’s house to retrieve the safe code that contains a large amount of money. Later, after Jody leaped on top of his car out the window to escape Raylan, he chastises Jody for denting his car. He shows Raylan a DVD he recorded of Jody, a message that is clear and concise: he is going to kill Raylan, when Raylan and other police officers burst into his house. As can be seen, he credits “Kenneth Flix productions” for his videos.
