She made friends with the dying Priscilla Davis while she was still on Earth, and after her death, she took over her identity with her permission, fell in love, and wed Fury. Varra took the side of Gravik and the Skrull Resistance during the Secret Invasion. But when she couldn’t get rid of Fury, she turned on them. After escaping the Resistance’s onslaught, Varra and Fury made a quick visit to the S.A.B.E.R. Space Station with the intention of bringing the Skrulls and Kree people together.
As a soldier in the 1990s, Varra fought for the people and places that the Skrulls valued. She joined Gravik in battle to protect them, and she recalled the appropriate prayer for Talos’s funeral.
