Winters appeared as Lauren Daly in 2014 American drama film Sand Castles. After being abducted and held hostage for more than ten years, Noah Daly’s now-mute sister Lauren reappears out of the blue, leaving his destitute family in rural Indiana reeling. In October 2012, Goshen, Indiana, and St. Joseph, Michigan, hosted filming.
