Carpenter Dexter

In the Showtime drama series DEXTER, she portrayed Debra Morgan, a law enforcement official and the adoptive sister of Dexter Morgan. She was honored with a 2009 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her performance. In the ten-episode special event series Dexter: New Blood, which debuted on November 7, 2021, she portrayed Deb.

One of the primary characters on Showtime’s DEXTER is Debra “Deb” Morgan. She worked for Miami Metro Homicide and was Dexter Morgan’s adopted sister. In the series, Debra frequently served as the moral compass, bringing the righteous sense of justice to bear while Dexter engaged in far more sinister activities. She usually followed Dexter’s lead in the plot because they both hunted the same killers. She wanted to bring them to justice, but Dexter wanted them so he could fulfill his Dark Passenger. Deborah Morgan is her equivalent in the Dexter Novels. In Dexter: New Blood, she also makes an appearance as Deb, a mental image of herself that Dexter has internalized. Dexter: Original Sin, the planned prequel, will feature a youthful Deb.

Although Debra had a tough and compassionate exterior, she was capable of getting agitated with suspects. She was the ideal antithesis of Dexter—rude, immature, passionate, impetuous, and trusting. Debra defended Dexter and pointed out his flaws several times, including when Joey Quinn called him a “dweeb.” Debra had to choose whether to report or defend Dexter once she learned he was a serial killer from his murder of Travis Marshall. She loved him, but she couldn’t decide whether to report him or protect him.

Carpenter Limitless

In Limitless, she plays Rebecca Harris, a special FBI agent. As Brian Finch’s handler, Rebecca Harris is an FBI agent who helps him solve cases. Given that it is revealed that Agent Harris’s father took NZT-48 at least once, she has a personal interest in the experiment.

She demonstrates a high level of intelligence and was the first FBI agent to accuse Senator Morra of having ties to NZT. Rebecca’s childhood is depicted as normal, presumably starting in her very early years, before her father further descended into drug addiction. Growing up surrounded by law enforcement due to her father’s many arrests ultimately served as her inspiration to become an FBI agent. She started working at the CJC shortly after her father was killed in 2014, and it was there that she first learnt about NZT in 2015. Upon noticing parallels between NZT users and her father, she became particularly interested in the subject and thought that perhaps by tracing the origins of NZT, she could learn more about her father’s fate.

She may have grown up in North Carolina with her mother, father, and younger sister because on page 44, her father is mentioned as having a job at UNC. Rebecca has green eyes and dark brown hair, which she almost usually wears updo-styled. She is said to have a glint in her eyes while taking NZT.
