In 2018, North portrayed the character Oz in the teen comedy streaming series All Night, created by Jason Ubaldi and premiered on Hulu on May 11, 2018. In 2020, North was cast as the lead in the teen drama Outer Banks. He plays the villain Topper, created by Josh Pate, in the film, in which he stars alongside Chase Stokes, Madeline Kline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Davis, Rudy Pankow and Drew Starkey. Premieres on Netflix on the 15th. He portrayed Shepley Maddox in the 2011 adult novel of the same name, released on April 12, 2023.
