He was also institutionalized as a mental patient as a result. In the end, he died trying to flee and aid in the fight against the End of Days. He was resurrected, most likely by his soul’s owner, Jeremy Crane, and came under the former Horseman of War’s authority. The hold on Irving’s soul was freed with Jeremy’s passing.

As was to be expected, Frank initially found it hard to accept all of the strange events occurring in Sleepy Hollow. But after coming face to face with the Headless Horseman and its attempt on his life, he not only started to believe but also started to support the Witnesses in their fight against evil.

Irving, a pivotal character in the Witnesses narrative, is entrusted with finding the Headless Horseman and gets embroiled in a number of incidents. He is given a 24-hour leave of absence so that Abbie can assist in finding the Horseman. Frank, a Witnesses follower, is troubled by the accident that happened to his daughter and the separation from his wife. Ancitif, a demon who possesses him, puts his daughter’s security in jeopardy.

The devil kills the priest in spite of his safeguards and demands the Bible. Crane, Abby, and Jenny help him save his daughter.
