Andy David Kindler is an American comedian and actor. He is an actor and writer best known for Raising Dad (2001), Everybody Loves Raymond (1996), and Who’s the Caboose? (1997).

Andy Raising Dad
He starred in Raising Dad is an American television sitcom. Playing the role of Mr. Travers. The series follows Matt Stewart a widower trying to raise his two daughters, Sarah and Emily, with the help of his live-in father, Sam, a former baseball player for the Boston Red Sox. Further complicating matters, Matt works as an English teacher at Sarah’s high school. Matt struggles to keep his nose out of his daughter’s social life while attempting to find his own.
Andy Career
Kindler performed in theater while in college. After graduation, Kindler moved to Los Angeles. He started doing stand-up comedy in 1984. In 2012, he entertained Dane Cook, Louis CK, Chelsea Handler and Jay Leno during his annual State of the Economy address at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. In 2010, Kindler served as a judge on the show “The Last Comic Standing”. In 2018, he hosted the live recording of Megan Koester’s comedy album “Tertium Non Datur”, which was released in January 2019 on Aspecialthing Records. Kindler hosted the fourth and fifth seasons (2018-19) of the Hulu stand-up comedy series Come to the Stage. In 1996, Whoopi Goldberg offered $1 million to anyone who could make her comedy.
Kindler released his first album, “I Think I’m Something”, which he recorded in 2003, in 2010. Then, he shared a humor post on May 8, 2020. Kindler is best known for his role as Andy on Everybody Loves Raymond. She also appeared in various episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place as Principal Tootie Tootie. Kindler is commonly known for portraying the character “Jamison” in WWE, but the character was played by another actor named John DiGiacomo. He played his real face in the IFC series Marlon. Kindler currently co-hosts the weekly podcast Thinking Spiral with friend and comedian J. Kindler. Elvis Weinstein. He also appeared on Most Show with Sam Seder many times.
