Dan Amboyer is an American actor best known for his appearances in the Darren Star series Younger and the NBC spin-off series The Blacklist: Redemption, as well as in the television film William & Catherine: A Royal Romance. He also stars in the Netflix comedy series Uncoupled, opposite Neil Patrick Harris.

He is 38 years old as of 28 December 2023. He was born in 1985 in Detroit, Michigan, United States.
Family – Education
Amboyer was born in Detroit to Dr. Donald Amboyer and Claudia. He went to Interlochen Arts Academy, an arts secondary school, and The Roeper School. After completing his junior year of high school, Amboyer resumed his studies at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, where he was granted early admission. Following his graduation, he moved to New York City.
Partner
On October 7, 2017, Amboyer made his homosexuality public and declared his marriage to Eric P. Berger, his longtime companion. Television coverage of Amboyer’s coming out on Access Hollywood, E! News, and Entertainment Tonight garnered national attention.
The Blacklist: Redemption
He appeared as Daniel / “Trevor”, the much younger male prostitute Scottie visits, who eventually starts a relationship with Kat in the American crime thriller television series The Blacklist: Redemption. The Blacklist: Redemption follows secret operative Tom Keen and his mother, Susan Hargrave, who controls Halcyon, a covert mercenary organization. While investigating cases, Tom discovers that his father, Howard, is still alive, which leads to revelations about his history and the rivalry between Susan and Howard, forcing Tom to take a side.
Law & Order
He appeared on both Law & Order and Law & Order: Organized Crime. He has also appeared on television shows such as Younger, The Blacklist: Redemption, and Tell Me a Story. Todd Barton, along with Jason Ward, is one of two college students who burned down four churches in search of delights other than drug use.
Kevin is Albi Briscu’s boyfriend. When a copycat fire murdered Catholic schoolteacher Charles Nash, Barton and Ward were pursued, imprisoned, and questioned. Barton broke first, admitting to the first four fires but offering an alibi for the fifth. The different accelerant used in the fifth fire provided more evidence to clear the two.
Barton and Ward were nonetheless convicted and imprisoned for arson. When Albi decided to leave New York to avoid being caught and imprisoned, Kevin accompanied him but was apprehensive about the scenario. When he discovered Flutura’s passport in Albi’s car’s glove compartment, he told him that he would not be a second option as a lover. Kevin and Albi boarded a boat, and Albi urged the owner to drive, but when he refused, Albi knocked him unconscious with his revolver, shocking Kevin.
Seconds later, the Organized Crime Control Bureau apprehended Albi and Kevin, and Albi threatened Kevin with a gun. Before asking to see Flutura, Albi taunts Kevin by telling him to shut talking and calling him a little bitch. Kevin becomes sad and confused and begs Albi to help him. Albi agrees to let Kevin go when Flutura shows there, and as a result, he is taken into custody. It’s unclear if Kevin was jailed for aiding Albi in eluding the authorities.
Uncoupled
He appeared as Luke, a third grade teacher who is Michael’s love interest in the American romantic comedy television series Uncoupled. The show stars Neil Patrick Harris as a newly single gay Manhattanite navigating the dating scene for the first time in 17 years after being unexpectedly dumped by his long-term partner. As he adjusts to being single in his late 40s, he sees that the gay dating scene has changed while he was in a relationship, and he quickly understands that in order to avoid being lonely indefinitely, he must take action.
Younger
He appeared as Thad and Chad Weber, twin brothers with strange behavior in the American comedy-drama television series Younger. Thad was Kelsey’s lover until he died. Chad then appeared and began pursuing Kelsey . The novel is set in New York City and follows Liza Miller’s personal and professional life; she is in her 40s, alone and alone after a painful divorce from her gambling-addicted husband and learns that her only daughter has decided to live in India full time.
After a run-in with a 26-year-old tattoo artist named Josh, who believes Liza and he are the same age, she devises a scheme to pass herself off as a 20-something in order to re-enter the ageist world of publishing. She becomes the assistant to Empirical Press Marketing Chief Diana Trout, while also befriending her coworker Kelsey Peters. However, she must strike a balance between her old and new lives, since they occasionally intersect.
