Rene Gube is an American comedian, actor, and writer well known for his roles on the TBS sitcom Ground Floor and worked as an executive story editor and writer for the CW show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, where he also appeared as “Father Brah”.

The Bear

Ground Floor
He had an appearance in the American sitcom Ground Floor as Mike “Threepeat” Wen. The main character of Ground Floor is Brody, a young, successful banker at Remington Trust. After spending one night with Jenny, he discovers that she works in building maintenance. From there, much to the chagrin of their coworkers, they try to reconcile their very different work environments with their growing feelings for one another.
On his day off, Brody must decide whether to sit with Mansfield or his fiancée when he receives invitations from Jenny and Mansfield to the same baseball game. In the meantime, Threepeat struggles for Mansfield’s attention, and Harvard finds himself uncomfortable in the corporate luxury suite. It is Brody and Threepeat’s responsibility to break unpleasant news to clients. Jenny persuades Derrick, Tori, and Harvard to put their money in. A guest star was John McEnroe.
Jenny fears Heather is a better fit for Brody when his business school ex-girlfriend Anna Camp reappears in the picture. After Jenny steps in to cover for Mansfield when his assistant becomes unwell, Mansfield ends up needing nursing care, which leaves Brody to handle a significant customer meeting by himself. As Harvard replaces Jenny, it has to hold off Threepeat and the other executives while releasing new phones.Without Brody, Jenny intends to take a trip to Paris. Every time Brody tries to tell Jenny how much he loves her, someone else interrupts him. Threepeat’s application skills are put to the test, and lies catch up with him.
