The eldest of two children, Chris Elliott was born in New York City on June 16, 1987. She is the daughter of actor/com comedian Chris Elliott and talent coordinator Paula Niedert. Bob Elliott was a radio comedian and her grandfather. They were raised in Wilton, Connecticut; her younger sister is the actress Bridey Elliott. She participated in school plays and musicals while attending Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut.
