The eldest of two children, Chris Elliott was born in New York City on June 16, 1987. She is the daughter of actor/com comedian Chris Elliott and talent coordinator Paula Niedert. Bob Elliott was a radio comedian and her grandfather. They were raised in Wilton, Connecticut; her younger sister is the actress Bridey Elliott. She participated in school plays and musicals while attending Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut. She enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City after graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005, but she left after just one semester.
