He co-hosted Cannabis Planet and created West Coast Cannabis Magazine. Bealum hosted a Cannabis Radio program. The podcast was designed as a travelogue, combining live cannabis events with discussions of contemporary cannabis themes and trends. Bealum was a contributor to the Sacramento News & Review, where he wrote the Ask420 column about marijuana and politics, and also hosted the cannabis trivia app Daily Bonfire. Ngaio was born in San Francisco to hippy parents who were involved in their neighborhood as Black Panthers. Bealum, an entertainer and activist, has appeared on television and cultural commentary podcasts, most notably on cannabis-related themes. Bealum appears frequently on Doug Benson’s show Getting Doug With High, presents High Times events, and attends the annual International Cannabis Business Conference.
