While Camilla speaks with her, Jay chooses to step outside and wait for Camilla before they return home. After a time, Jay chooses to depart without Camilla after hearing the sound of a car accident. He investigates and discovers that the same young lady from the club has been shot dead. Camilla meets up with Jay, whom she still refers to as “Ryan,” but he sends her away since she is high, and he calls Voight for assistance. In 2020, he played Sean Richter on Chicago Med.

He also appeared as “DEA Agent Thomas” in the Chicago PD episode Rabbit Hole.Rabbit Hole is the eleventh episode of the fifth season of Chicago P.D. This is also the 94th episode in the series. The episode picks up where the previous episode left off, with Alvin bringing Adam to a location where Voight is waiting for him. Adam tells Voight that Woods threatened to arrest his sister if he didn’t help him. Voight is unhappy with Adam and offers him a bargain to help him take down Woods. Adam accepts, but Voight’s confidence in him wanes. Meanwhile, Jay is out with Camilla and her buddy Alex at a club when they meet a young lady.

Career

Clemons-Hopkins has performed in several theater shows. They were nominated for a Barrymore Award for Excellence in Theater in 2014, which recognizes Philadelphia-area theater performances, in the category of “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical” for their work in Little Shop of Horrors. Their 2016 performances included Time Is On Our Side, for which they were praised as “immensely likable and sympathetic,” and Richard III. In September 2016, they debuted as an original cast member in the new Chicago production of Hamilton.

After seeing the 2016 film Moonlight, Clemons-Hopkins began looking into television and film options.
Clemons-Hopkins made her HBO Max comedy-drama debut in 2021 with the show Hacks. They were nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for their performance. They starred in Candyman, a slasher thriller that was released on August 27, 2021. They will play James Baldwin opposite Crystal Dickinson as Nikki Giovanni in Lessons in Survival: 1971 at the Vineyard Theatre in 2022. The performance takes place after Giovanni interviews Baldwin on the television show Soul! Prior to getting cast in Hacks, Clemons-Hopkins planned to leave acting and apply to business school.
