Byron has made appearances on Comedy Central’s Adam DeVine’s House Party, The Eric Andre Show on Adult Swim, and the return of BET’s Comic View. He first appeared on The Pete Holmes Show late at night, and then he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Byron has appeared on Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show, Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party, and the reboot of BET’s Comic View. He appeared on “The Pete Holmes Show” last night and later appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” He starred in MTV’s Guy Code and the History Channel comedy “History’s Crossings.” He currently stars as Meldrick on Lena Waithe’s Showtime series The Chi. He also played Lucas Hedges’ friend in “The Boy,” which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. In 2016,performed with Flying Lotus, Thundercat and George Clinton at the Hollywood Bowl as part of the Brainfeeder Music Festival. He starred in the horror movie KUSO. His television credits include Comedy Central’s Meltdown Season 3, HBO Canada’s Funny as Hell in Montreal and Viceland’s Flop House. His show credits include Oddball Comedy Fest, SXSW, Life Is Beautiful, Austin City Limits, RIOT, SF Sketchfest, and the Blue Whale Comedy Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Powers grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue her acting career.
