Lombardo is a U.S. Army veteran who was a forward observer in the 82nd Airborne Division in the 1990s, where he received numerous decorations. Boyar has starred in P.S. Your Cat Is Dead as Eddie Tesoro, a burglar, and had a brief cameo on Fox’s 24 as convenience store robber Ramon Garcia. Anglophone cable-TV viewers may also be aware with Boyar’s voice work as Lawrence “Lars” Rodriguez in Klasky-Csupo’s Rocket Power cartoons and with his live-action role as Sergio del Rio on Steven Bochco’s Over There. Boyar also contributed voices to the films Happy Feet and Coco. Additionally, he has made semi-regular appearances on The Bernie Mac Show as Chuy. Fluent in English and Spanish with a very adaptable voice, Boyar has also provided voice-over work for commercials. Boyar had a voice acting role in the 2008 Turok video game as Gonzales.
