Christian Borle is an American actor and vocalist well-known for his parts in the films Spamalot, Something Rotten!, Peter and the Starcatcher, Legally Blonde, and Some Like It Hot. In addition, he starred in NBC’s Smash, the adult animated musical comedy Hazbin Hotel, and the 2016 Broadway production of Falsettos. Additionally, Borle has made appearances in the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel and the television series Smash.

Family – Education
The son of University of Pittsburgh physiology professor Andre Bernard Borle (1930–2011), Borle was reared in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His love of Star Wars and drawing inspired him to become a comic book artist when he grew up, but it wasn’t until a buddy persuaded him to apply for a school play in his sophomore year at Shady Side Academy that he began to develop an interest in acting. Borle attended Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama and graduated in 1995. After graduation, he relocated to New York City and earned his first acting role. He worked as an elf in Macy’s Santaland.

Borle met actress Sutton Foster in college, and the two married on September 18, 2006.They got divorced in 2009. In 2012, Foster stated that she and Borle are still friends who support and appear in one other’s work.

Prodigal Son
He appeared as Friar Pete, a new patient at the Claremont Psychiatric Hospital in the American procedural drama television series Prodigal Son. The protagonist of the show is Malcolm Bright, whose father Martin Whitly goes by the notorious moniker “the Surgeon” as a serial killer. When Malcolm was still a child, he learned of his father’s actions and informed the authorities, who eventually apprehended Martin.
Malcolm has changed his name, severed all contacts with his father, and hasn’t seen him in ten years by the time of the program. Malcolm, an NYPD profiler who was also an FBI profiler, is compelled to confront his father when a serial killer imitator shows up.
