Chicago Med
She appeared as Vicky Glass, a physician at a Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital on Chicago Med. Vicki, like her prior love interest Ethan Choi, worked as a combat doctor in the Navy. Her debut appearance was in the episode Choices. She was the doctor caring for Chief Mason. a friend of Choi. Since the Chief was her patient, Ethan questions why she was aware of his problems but did not act on them. She informs him that the VA Hospital is understaffed and overbudget; she did her best but was unable to make it happen. Later in the episode, Choi sees her at the reunion. He is considerably calmer this time, so the two go for a drink.
Shooter
She appeared as Nadine Memphis, an FBI agent investigating Swagger in the American drama television series Shooter. Bob Lee Swagger, a veteran Marine Corps sniper, is summoned to assist his former captain Isaac in the US Secret Service ahead of the Ukrainian president’s visit to Seattle.
However, he is unable to stop the shooting and is apprehended by FBI agent Nadine. Bob Lee escapes from prison and becomes the target of a manhunt. He admits to his role in the scheme and fakes his death to become a ghost. In flashbacks, Bob Lee protects Isaac in Afghanistan and assists him in locating the original bullet used in the assassination attempt. They collaborate to gather evidence to expose the scheme, but Isaac wonders his devotion. The story focuses on the problems that Bob Lee, Julie, Nadine, and Isaac experience in a risky circumstance.
Power
She appeared as Ramona Garrity, a political strategist for the DNC in the American crime drama thriller television series Power. The first season of Power garnered mixed reviews from reviewers. Metacritic, a review aggregator, gives the season a 57 out of 100 based on 15 reviews, suggesting that the series received mixed reactions. Rotten Tomatoes rates the season 44% based on 18 reviews, with an average rating of 5.7/10. According to the website’s opinion, “Power suffers from excessive plotting and the use of overly familiar by-the-numbers story elements.”
Tim Goodman of The Hollywood Reporter wrote in his review, “Power appears to want to be a show that tells a big, complicated, meaningful story about, well, the perils and problems of power and how one man deals with them.” Variety critic Brian Lowry writes in his review, “The three previewed episodes of the show, created by The Good Wife alumna Courtney A. Kemp, move briskly enough, but they’re only moderately compelling.” While 50 Cent’s appearance adds some promotional gravitas (he makes a cameo in a later episode), the allure of such behind-the-scenes celebrity names is typically limited. Mostly, this is undemanding escapism with all the usual pay-TV trappings, similar to what Cinemax offers in serial format. While that may be a formula for keeping Ghost visible for some time, it leaves Power feeling a little drained creatively.
