Jordan Black is an American actor and comedic writer. He is an actor and writer, known for Community (2009), Halfway Home (2007) and Ballers (2015). He has written for Saturday Night Live and appeared on Comedy Central’s Halfway Home as Sebastian “C-Bass” Yates, an ex-convict for computer fraud.

He also appeared on MADtv as himself in 2003. Black is also a student of The Groundlings, a group of actors and actresses in Los Angeles. Although Black retired from the main theater company in the mid-2000s, he returned to perform in The Groundlings’ development shows The Crazy Uncle Joe Show and Cookin’ with Gas, as well as to teach at The Groundlings. He appeared on the NBC television show “Community” and the CBS comedy series “I Met Your Mother” as City Community College President Steven Spreck. In 2020, she starred in Sarah Cooper: All Good.
