Her younger sister, Aimee Graham, is an actor and writer. Her father, James Graham, is a former FBI agent, and her mother, Joan (née Bransfield), is a teacher and children’s book author. Her family migrated several times until settling in Agoura Hills, California, when she was nine. She was introduced to acting through a school production of The Wizard of Oz. Graham took two years of English extension classes at the University of California, Los Angeles after graduating from high school. Graham dropped out of UCLA to pursue a full-time acting career, contrary to her parents’ desires. Graham was previously estranged from her parents.

Boogie Nights
She appeared as Brandy / Rollergirl in the 1997 American period drama film Boogie Nights. Eddie Adams, a high school dropout, relocates to California with pornographer Jack Horner in 1977 and rises to prominence. He adopts the alias Dirk Diggler and collaborates with Reed Rothchild on popular action-themed pornographic films. However, their romance is shattered when assistant director Little Bill Thompson commits suicide after uncovering Eddie’s adultery. Dirk and Reed consume cocaine, which causes dramatic mood swings and anger with Johnny Doe, a competing leading man Jack has recruited.
Dirk is sacked in 1983 and decides to pursue a music career with Scotty. Floyd Gondolli’s business proposals are rejected by Jack, who prefers to minimize costs by shooting on videotape. After Colonel James is imprisoned for possessing child pornography, Jack gets dissatisfied with the work he is required to accomplish. Dirk and Reed struggle to pay for demo tapes and turn to prostitution, but are eventually killed in a robbery. In 1984, Amber shoots a television commercial for Buck’s store, Rollergirl enrolls in a GED program, Maurice starts a nightclub, Reed performs magic, and Jessie gives birth to her and Buck’s son.
Killing Me Softly
She appeared as Alice Tallis in the 2002 erotic thriller film Killing Me Softly. Alice, a young American woman in London, is in a relationship with Adam, a hero who saved six people in a horrible incident. Alice breaks up with her boyfriend and starts dating Adam, who takes her to a secluded cabin for their honeymoon. Alice, on the other hand, is worried by odd letters and phone calls, and she begins to wonder about her husband’s background. She uncovers a box of old letters from her ex-lover, Adele, who insists that she and Adam quit their relationship.
As she searches their apartment, she discovers Adele has been missing for eight months and a picture of her at the same cabin where they honeymooned. Alice flees to the police, who suspect she murdered Adele for abandoning him and buried her in the cabin. Deborah, who had sex with Adam when he was 15, discloses it and attempts to kill Alice.
Adam informs Alice that he and his sister used to visit the cabin together, but he believed that if Alice just trusted him, everything would be fine. Alice shoots Deborah, but Adam rescues her. Alice and Adam meet again two years later, and Alice wonders what could have occurred if fate had not brought them together.
The Hangover
Graham starred as Jade, a stripper with a heart of gold, in The Hangover, which was a critical and commercial triumph. Lindsay Lohan declined the part, so she was cast instead. She did not return for the sequel, The Hangover Part II, although she did appear in the last installment, The Hangover Part III. In 2010, she appeared in Boogie Woogie, followed by unsuccessful films Father of Invention, 5 Days of War, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer (all 2011), and About Cherry (2012). Graham was also noted with having old footage of her from Scream 2 reused in Scream 4 (2011).
