American Vandal
He appeared as Dylan Maxwell, the primary suspect of the prank at Hanover High School in the season 1 of the American mockumentary television series American Vandal. The first season examines the fallout from a pricey high school prank that left 27 teacher cars defaced with phallic pictures. Dylan Maxwell, the senior class clown, is accused of the crime by the school. He is expelled, but sophomore Peter Maldonado launches an inquiry into the incident, with the help of his friend Sam Ecklund, to determine whether Dylan was genuinely responsible for the murder.
The second season follows Peter and Sam as they investigate a new crime at a Catholic private high school when the cafeteria’s lemonade is tainted with maltitol by someone claiming to be “The Turd Burglar.”

Tatro appeared in the 2017 Netflix Original series American Vandal, a “true-crime satire that explores the aftermath of a costly high school prank that left twenty-seven faculty cars vandalized with phallic images.” Tatro plays Dylan Maxwell, a student suspected of vandalizing the automobiles, and the story revolves around proving his innocence. The show parodies the popular true-crime genre, such as the Netflix series Making a Murderer. Tatro got widespread critical acclaim for his performance and was nominated for several critics’ awards.
LifeAccordingToJimmy
Tatro and his creative collaborator, Christian Pierce, launched their YouTube channel, LifeAccordingToJimmy, in 2011, where they post comic skits. As of January 2022, the channel had approximately 3.46 million subscribers. Tatro’s videos have included several celebrities, including Angela Kinsey, David Henrie, Alexander Ludwig, Emily Osment, Darin Brooks, Milo Ventimiglia, Riff Raff, Pauly Shore, and Liliana Mumy. In 2014, his YouTube channel was ranked #92 in New Media Rockstars’ Top 100 Channels.
Career
Tatro has performed stand-up satire the nation over at parody clubs and school grounds. Tatro’s profession segued into motion pictures in 2013 with a minor job in the Adam Sandler parody Adults 2. He then showed up inverse Jonah Slope and Channing Tatum in 2014’s 22 Leap Road as Chicken. In 2016, he showed up in the film variation of Blue Mountain State.
Tatro featured close by Gary Busey in the Christian Day Camp satire, Camp Sustenance. On November 20, 2017, Tatro reported by means of web-based entertainment that he joined the cast of Smallfoot, a 3D PC vivified satire film as the person Thorp. Tatro plays Connor, the well off proprietor of a confidential value firm, who draws nearer to his two kin, one of whom is working class while the other is down and out. The show was dropped in 2023 after three seasons.
