On June 25, 2009, she was no longer listed as a correspondent for MTV News, although she appeared to discuss the career of Michael Jackson, who died earlier that day. In June 2009, Norris became CEO of music website Noisevox. He works as a website moderator and hosts the indie rock series Noisemakers on Noisevox and Face Time. As a freelance journalist, Norris has written about music and culture for Vice, Entertainment Weekly, Yahoo!, Refinery29, Communication Talk, MTV Iggy, and MTV Hive, as well as Dazed, V. and VMan magazine was hired by the Fuse music channel in April 2013 as the presenter of the evening “Fuse News” and regularly appears as a journalist.
