McFadyen hosted Cupid on CBS and hosted the first season of The CW’s Beauty and the Geek (then on The WB). He also worked for many years with popular rock radio station Cane at KEGE 93.7 Edge in Minneapolis and 92.3 K-Rock Radio in New York City. Macfadyen hosts and produces Al Gore’s Now TV show. In May 2011, Macfadyen began hosting “Seven Wonders of the Great Wall” on MSN. In August 2012, McFadyen signed with Silver Chalice Ventures in Chicago, Illinois, to host “Campus Insiders,” an online digital NCAA college football and basketball program. As of March 2014, he has served as a reporter/host for HLN Morning Express Bleacher Report. In December 2016. she began working at KGW in Portland, Oregon, as a morning news anchor and co-host of “Portland Today”. In January 2017, McFayden was removed from the morning slot and became the anchor of KGW’s Live At 7 evening news. He left KGW, or at least the news agency, in October 2017 for unknown reasons. In December 2020, McFadyen began working at KYGO FM 98.5 in Denver, Colorado.
