Brazil began his career in television as an intern for the Regional Emmy Award-winning program High School Sports Focus on KICU-TV. In 2003, he was promoted to co-host. Brazil joins the NBC Sports Bay Area team in February 2009. Currently, he anchors SportsNet Central, is an anchor for Shark Byte, an NBC Sports Bay Area magazine-style show centered on the San Jose Sharks, hosts Oakland A’s Pre & Post Game, hosts Sports Net Reports, and hosts his own podcast, “Brodie Brazil Connected,” which primarily features commentary on the San Jose Sharks and the Oakland A’s in their respective seasons. Additionally, he works as rinkside reporter and host for San Jose Sharks telecasts.
In addition, Brazil has covered a range of local sports stories, the University of California, Stanford University, San Jose State University, the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, Oakland Raiders, San Jose Earthquakes, and NASCAR.
