Dwyer made a brief comeback to Hollyoaks in 2003, and from 2003 to 2006, she also regularly presented the ITV show Loose Women. She debuted in Grange Hill in 2005, when she played Miss Adams, the schoolteacher. Terri assisted ITV Play in the June 2006 premiere of Rovers Return Quiz Night.

She and Paul Hendy were two of the show’s primary presenters. After agreeing to take over as the primary presenter of ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover in June 2006, Dwyer departed from ITV Play. Claire Sweeney, a fellow Loose Women star, had gone to take part in a theatrical play. Later on, Dwyer left the show as part of an ITV cost-cutting initiative.

In 2007, Terri and Jeremy Edwards (who portrayed Dwyer’s husband in Hollyoaks) co-hosted Coronation Street/Emmerdale Confidential on ITV. In 2002, Dwyer also had a cameo on the sitcom Bo’ Selecta.

Additionally, Dwyer made an appearance in Mile High’s 12th episode, which was a one-off. Dwyer portrayed a traveler in a gathering of individuals who are all afraid of airplanes. An intimate moment occurs between her and Captain Croker. The Captain is drawn in by Dwyer’s character as she strips down to her underwear and swims to a secluded beach, where he soon follows. It’s hinted that the Captain’s inability to “get it up” causes the two characters’ attempts at sex to fail. Up until 2012, Dwyer frequently appeared on This Morning.
