Tatu began professionally tattooing at the age of 19. Her influences include Nikko Hurtado, Jose Lopez, and Steve Butcher. With six years of expertise, she was cast in the second season of the reality tattooing competition show Ink Master. Tatu Baby, according to Devon Preston of Inked Magazine, “…helped to open doors for thousands of women pursuing careers in tattooing.” She finished fourth in the competition and was asked back for the show’s third season.
