She worked as an anchor for ABC’s Charlotte affiliate, WSOC-TV, from 1979 to 1983. Gentzler then worked for WCAU-TV in Philadelphia. She joined NBC4 in 1989, following the retirement of anchor Dave Marash. She currently headlines WRC-TV’s weekday 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. segments of News4.
