Sebastian and Dr. Leana Sheryle Love Journey
The couple met in London in August 2008. At that time he was a student of Oxford, Dr. Wen, a native of Shanghai. Her thesis was in Cape Town, where she had never been. When she was browsing, a man with a stack of books about China approached her. She went to the travel area of a London bookstore. Mr. Walker asked her whether she came from China and explained he planned to go there. Soon Dr. Wen learned that Mr. Walker was from South Africa. They spent two more hours in the coffee shop in the bookstore. Mr. Walker asked Dr. Wen to have dinner during that conversation.
Dr. Wen went to South Africa a week later, and he and Mr. Walker maintained e-mail contact. When she came back to Oxford that fall, but in June 2009 Dr. Wen went back to Boston to start her residency, her relationship started in earnest. Mr. Walker has juggled his work schedule so that every month he could spend thousands of miles traveling in Boston.
