Jenny-May was always losing her wedding ring, so she had it tattooed on her finger. On her show, the news reporter revealed her new tattoo and explained how meaningful it was to her and her husband. The tattoo was inspired by her experience of losing her wedding bands.

Clarkson began her career with TVNZ in 2005 as a netball analyst for the National Bank Cup on ONE Sport. In March of that year, she was named weekend sports presenter and weekday sports producer. She returned to ONE Sport in 2006 and rejoined the netball commentary crew. She was a member of the Auckland Diamonds netball squad in 2007. On Mondays and Tuesdays, she presented sports on TV One and commented on National Bank Cup events. She was a news anchor on TVNZ 7 until the channel was shut down.

Jenny-May Clarkson Career

Jenny-May Coffin has competed in domestic netball leagues in New Zealand since 1995, and in the National Bank Cup since 1998. She joined the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in 1998 and was named captain in 2000. She retired from the Magic in 2004 and works as a sports presenter on TVNZ.

She returned to netball in 2006, competing in the National Championships before captaining the Auckland Diamonds in 2007. Coffin signed a two-year contract with the Southern Steel after the National Bank Cup was replaced with the ANZ Championship in 2008. She did, however, leave the club after the first season to pursue a career in television.

In October 2009, Coffin announced her return to competitive netball by signing with the Northern Mystics for the 2010 ANZ Championship season. Coffin was a member of the Silver Ferns from 1997 to 2002. She was vice-captain in 2001 and played in the 2002 Commonwealth Games for the Silver Ferns. She was a member of the Ferns for 26 years before retiring from international netball at the end of 2002.
