He was was twice a contestant on Iron Chef America from the year 2006 and 2010. Iron Chef America is an American culinary show based on Fuji Television’s Iron Chef. It is the series’ second American translation, following the unsuccessful Iron Chef USA, which aired in 2001. Food Network produced the show, which also aired a dubbed version of the original Iron Chef. The program, like the original Japanese program, is a culinary game show. Each episode features a new challenger chef competing against one of the resident “Iron Chefs” in a one-hour culinary competition based on a secret ingredient or ingredients, as well as a theme.
