Jane Kennedy Career
While working on the D-Generation Breakfast Show on commercial radio in Melbourne, she met the other members of the group, including Tom Gleisner, Rob Sitch, Santo Cilauro, Tony Martin, Mick Molloy, and Jason Stephens. Kennedy was the newsreader assigned to work with the group during their timeslot, even though he wasn’t a member of the group in the beginning. The group immediately made a round of attempts to make her giggle while she read the news.
Kennedy became a full-time member of the D-Generation as a result of their frequent success, and she continued to collaborate with them on the radio show. The gathering remained together to later compose, direct and deliver The Late Show, an improv show, Bleeding Edge, a generally acclaimed satire of TV current undertakings in which she played aggressive correspondent Brooke Vandenberg, and Crazy Crew, a retro-styled parody of 70s police dramatizations.
Since the mid-1990s, Kennedy has generally remained behind the camera as a projecting chief and maker for different Working Canine creations, including their board television show The Board, and the movies The Palace and The Dish.
Kennedy has also made brief appearances on the radio program Get This and has been a panelist on the television talk show The Circle on a semi-regular basis. From 2017 until 2020 she co-facilitated Kennedy Molloy, a public drive show on Triple M in 2018 with her lengthy timespan satire partner Mick Molloy. Kennedy quit Triple M in January 2021 to spend more time with her family.
