In 2011, Amarteifio made her West End debut as the young Nala in The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre. She then played Hortensia in Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre. Amarteifio played Violet Beauregarde in the original cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 2013. She made her television debut in the BBC One film Gangsta Granny the same year. Amarteifio began starring in the Disney Channel series The Evermoor Chronicles (also known as just Evermoor in some countries) as Lacie Fairburn in 2015, after appearing in the miniseries The Interceptor and guest starring in the Doctor Who series 9 episode “The Magician’s Apprentice” on BBC One.
She later appeared as Roz Huntley’s (Thandie Newton) daughter Sophie in the fourth series of Line of Duty and as Maya Roebuck in the third series of Sky Atlantic and Canal+ crime drama The Tunnel. In the 2019 comedy-drama Military Wives, Amarteifio made her feature film debut. She portrayed Nora Randall in the Sky Max science fiction series The Midwich Cuckoos in 2022. She was also cast as a younger version of Golda Rosheuvel’s titular character in the Netflix period drama prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, which is set to premiere on May 4, 2023.
