Nate Berkus is an interior designer, author, and television personality from the United States. He owns the Chicago interior design business Nate Berkus Associates and was a frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, where he gave viewers design advice and coordinated surprise house makeovers. Nate Berkus Career

Berkus began selling his goods at Linens ‘n Things stores across North America in 2005. Berkus hosted the reality show Oprah’s Big Give, which aired on March 2, 2008, but concluded on April 20, the same year. ABC stated on May 13, 2008, that it will not be renewed for a second season.

On September 13, 2010, he made his debut as the host of The Nate Berkus Show, a syndicated daily show co-produced by Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television. It was filmed at Studio 42 at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York, although it broadcast on the ten NBC-owned and operated stations in the country’s major cities.

Among his visitors was sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer, whose living and dining rooms he redecorated after 50 years. Sony Pictures opted not to renew The Nate Berkus Show for a third season in December 2011. Berkus also served as an executive producer on The Help, a 2011 film.

He appeared as himself in the October 12, 2011 and October 13, 2011 episodes of Days of Our Lives, a daytime television soap opera in the United States, designing MadWorld Cosmetics’ offices for Madison James. Berkus began working on a primetime series with NBC in March 2013, initially titled Renovation Nation, according to television journalists.
