March made her television debut in an episode of the CBS series ‘Early Edition’ in 1997. She moved to New York two years later and made her Broadway debut in the critically acclaimed production of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.” She was one of the show’s lead performers, along with Brian Dennehy. She also appeared in the TV movie adaptation of the same-titled play in 2000. March has appeared in numerous stage productions, including Eric Bogosian’s “Talk Radio” and Howard Korder’s “Boy’s Life.” She appeared in these two productions alongside well-known artists such as Liev Schreiber and Jason Biggs. March made her film debut in the political satire ‘Head of State’ in 2003.

She also appeared in the 2009 film ‘The Invention of Lying,’ playing the role of a woman with whom the character played by Ricky Gervais wishes to have sex. Her biggest project on television so far was playing the role ‘Of Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot’ on the NBC crime-legal drama series, ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’. Due to the circumstances of the storyline, she made several appearances after leaving the show. She also played ‘Alexandra Cabot’ on the short-lived NBC courtroom drama ‘Conviction,’ though her character was the homicide bureau’s ‘Bureau Chief ADA’. In addition to major roles, she has appeared as a guest on several television shows.
