Snyder took over as In-N-6th Out’s President on January 1, 2010, succeeding her brother-in-law, Mark Taylor, who was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. She holds the same position as her grandfather Harry (1948-1976), uncle Rich (1976-1993), father Guy (1993-1999), and grandmother Esther (1999-2006). Before Snyder took over as President of In-N-Out Burger, a taped message from her was broadcast to all company associates, informing them of the transition and the company’s future. Esther Snyder’s signature was finally replaced on associates’ paychecks with Lynsi Snyder’s in 2009, three years after Esther Snyder’s death. Snyder and In-N-Out were embroiled in a bitter legal battle with a former company executive, Rich Boyd, in 2006.

Snyder took over her father’s share of In-N-Out (50% of the company) on her 30th birthday and inherited the remainder of the company when her grandmother Esther died. Snyder took full control of the company when she was 35 years old. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index named Snyder a billionaire for the first time in February 2013, based on an In-N-Out Burger valuation of $1.1 billion. Snyder is known for her servant leadership and dedication to upholding her family’s legacy of “Quality and Service.” Under her leadership, In-N-Out has expanded to over 380 locations and into Oregon and Colorado, allowing the company to serve customers in seven states.
