Roman Kemp is an English radio and television host. Since 2014, he has hosted Capital FM’s national radio network, as well as their own breakfast show since 2017. Kemp finished third in the nineteenth series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2019.

Kemp began hosting Capital Breakfast with Vick Hope from 6 am-10 am across London in 2017 and Saturday 6 am-9am across the Network. As a result, he dropped out of the evening show. Sonny Jay became a full-time co-presenter of Capital Breakfast in 2018.

Roman Kemp Career
Kemp joined Capital FM in November 2014 to host Sunday 6-9 am. A year later, he was promoted to Saturday 5-8 pm and Sunday 9 pm-12 am, where he had the opportunity to interview artists on his show. Kemp joined The Capital Evening Show weeknights 7-10 pm, in addition to his Sunday show, in February 2016. Kemp served as The X Factor UK’s digital presenter and social media correspondent in 2016. On Nicktoons, he also co-hosted Nick Kicks. He has co-hosted 2Awesome on ITV2 with Vick Hope since January 2017. On ITV2, he also hosted The Hot Desk. Kemp took over Capital FM London’s breakfast show with Hope on May 2, 2017.
In 2017, he narrated Bromans on ITV2, in which his father played Emperor. He made an appearance on Len Goodman’s Partners in Rhyme. In November 2017, he took part in a celebrity edition of First Dates for Stand Up to Cancer. Kemp worked as a backstage reporter on Children in Need Rocks the 80s in November 2017. Kemp co-hosted the Global Awards with Rochelle Humes and Myleene Klass on March 1, 2018, and will return to present the 2019 Global Awards. Kemp, Hope, and Jay took over as hosts of the new Capital National Breakfast on April 8, 2019.
In May 2019, it was announced that he would represent the Rest of the World in the 2019 edition of Soccer Aid, owing to his birth in Los Angeles, which allows him to be classified as an American. Kemp has appeared alongside his father in the Channel 4 reality series Celebrity Gogglebox since June 2019. Kemp finished third in the nineteenth series of the ITV reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2019. Kemp presented a documentary, Roman Kemp: Our Silent Emergency, on BBC3 in March 2021, exploring the mental health and suicide crisis affecting young men. Joe Lyons, a friend, committed suicide in August 2020. Kemp and his father Martin Kemp will present Martin & Roman’s Weekend Best!, a spin-off of Martin & Roman’s Sunday Best!, beginning in April 2021.
