Cyrus is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter who is currently a member of the pop band ‘Metro Station,’ which he co-founded with Mason Musso. This 28-year-old has carved out his own space in the sun, beyond the shadows cast by his father, Billy Ray, and his superstar sister, Miley. He has always been drawn to music, spending his school holidays with Billy Ray as he toured and performed across the United States. He dropped out of ‘La Caada High School’ before graduating in 2006 to work at a shopping mall in Burbank, California. ‘Country Music Has the Blues,’ a song co-written by Cyrus, was included in Billy Ray’s album ‘Wanna Be Your Joe’ the same year. He has also collaborated with Miley, and the likes of Stitches, Lancifer, and Zach Van Dyke, and worked on films such as, ‘The House Bunny’ (2008) and ‘Fragments’ (2008).

Cyrus first met Musso on the set of ‘Hannah Montana’ in 2006. They quickly discovered that they have similar musical tastes and decided to form a band. Blake Healy was hired as a keyboardist, synthesizer player, and bassist. Musso took over as lead singer and rhythm guitarist, while Cyrus provided lead guitar and vocals. After their song ‘Seventeen Forever’ was uploaded to the group’s ‘MySpace’ Music page, Anthony Improgo joined the band as the drummer. Soon after, the band signed a deal with Columbia Records. ‘Shake It,’ a song from their self-titled debut album, became a Billboard Top Ten hit single. Cyrus began a solo career with a project called ‘Ashland High’ after the band split up in 2010.

He has an estimated net worth of 2 million dollars.
