On 1 July 2022, it was announced that KSI vs Alex Wassabi would take place on 27 August 2022; however, due to a major concussion, Wassabi’s replacement was announced on 6 August. A series of other boxing events titled “MF & DAZN: X Series” were announced in collaboration with DAZN, who were the distributors for KSI’s previous rematch against Logan Paul, as well as future events, making the KSI vs Swarmz event X Series 001. He won the ICB World cruiserweight title by KO in the second round over Swarmz.

KSI Philanthropy
In 2015, he donated $10,000 to YouTuber Castro1021, and took part in the Race Against Slime event, which raised money for SpecialEffect, a foundation that develops technology to help people with physical disabilities play video games. Between 2016 and 2022, he together with and the rest of the Sidemen hosted and participated in four charity football events, raising just under £400,000 for organizations such as the Saint’s Foundation, Childline, Young Minds, and the Charlton Athletic Community Trust.
He volunteered at a food bank on May 8, 2020, to support The Independent’s Help the Hungry campaign. He prepared meals to support the Evening Standard’s Food for London Now campaign on December 18, 2020. On 11 March 2021, he donated £10,000 to BBC Radio 1’s “Lol-a-thon” fundraiser for Comic Relief. On March 30, 2021, it was revealed that he had signed an open letter written by Lenny Henry urging Black British people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
