He rose to prominence by playing NBA 2K20 with James and participating in wager matches with other streamers and YouTubers. Ross was streaming with Bronny in 2020 when LeBron James joined in on the call, which he later posted on Twitter. After becoming dissatisfied with NBA 2K21 and its creators in November 2020, Ross created the Twitter hashtag #make2kfunagain, which quickly rose to the top of the platform’s trending topics.

Twitch clarified that he would be permitted to stream based on this information. In an attempt to put pressure on Twitch, his followers began trending the hashtag #FreeAdin on Twitter. He was barred from entering the country until April 12, 2021.
Ross was banned indefinitely a year later, on April 20, 2022, for using “hateful slurs or symbols.” The decision was made in response to video evidence that Ross used a homophobic slur during Twitch streamer YourRAGE’s livestream. He was later able to resume streaming in June 2022.
