The Cleaning Lady is a drama about Thony De La Rosa, a former Cambodian-Filipino surgeon who now works and lives in Las Vegas. Her five-year-old son, Luca, is the reason she is in the US on an expired visa. Luca suffers from a unique and potentially fatal medical condition that necessitates cutting-edge bone marrow treatment that is only offered in Nevada. Élodie Yung The Defenders
She appeared as Elektra Natchios, a mysterious and dangerous woman from Murdock’s past, who is the Black Sky, a weapon of the Hand in the American television miniseries The Defenders. Executive producer Jeph Loeb had planned to adapt the storyline from the comics involving Natchios’ resurrection, and Ramirez felt that it should happen in The Defenders since the writers of Daredevil made the “organic” decision to kill the character at the end of the second season of that series. Natchios was described by Yung as “an amnesiac [who] doesn’t recall who she is or anything about her prior life,” with the question of how much of the original character remained after Alexandra’s instruction. Alexandra’s connection is described as “strange” by Sigourney Weaver, who plays her.
Élodie Yung Daredevil
She appeared as Elektra Natchios, a mysterious and dangerous woman from Murdock’s past in the American television series Daredevil. Before Yung was cast in the role, the character was mentioned in the first season. Petrie described Elektra’s influence on Murdock as “magical.” “the nicest terrible girlfriend you could ever have She’s [Matt’s] id, the wild side, and she does everything wrong and attractive. Matt is always taming his wild nature. Elektra simply lets it out.
He is both horrified and drawn to it.” Elektra was described by Yung as “He’s a sociopath. For her, the world is a game. It’s a game of chess, and what inspires her is what she desires. She’ll use whatever means necessary to achieve her aim, including killing others.” Elektra, she says, is neither good nor bad, but rather a “person with varied features” and layers. Elektra is played by Lily Chee when she is young.
