Before founding FEED, Bush was contracted to Elite Model Management. She has appeared on the pages of Vogue and Vanity Fair, and she has modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch, and designers Gai Mattiolo and Isaac Mizrahi on numerous occasions. Bush worked as an intern on the sitcom Friends, making a cameo appearance in one episode, and interned with designer Zac Posen alongside Ashley Olsen. Bush was a Student Ambassador for the World Food Program in Chad in 2005.
Lauren founded FEED Projects, a social enterprise dedicated to fighting world poverty on behalf of the United Nations World Food Programme, in 2007.
