Dave was nominated for an Emmy in 2007 for “Best Weekend Newscast,” which he shared with co-anchor Glenda Lewis and producer Tim Kochenderfer. Dave won Emmys for “Breaking News” for Channel 7’s live continuing coverage of fires in Highland Park, as well as “March Madness,” an inside look at the Michigan state high school basketball tournament.
Dave created and hosted “Golf Michigan,” which aired for four years on WXYZ. The series celebrated the state of Michigan’s golf industry.
